Many employees federations and political parties came forward to defend the District Magistrate of Madhepura involved in a sexual exploitation case charged by a young lady Sumanlata in Orai.The Non-gazetted staff federation (Gope) and District Non-gazetted staff federation have issued Press release in which they said that the DM has been involved in a false and concocted case under a conspiracy and this must be exposed.they also said that they know the DM well.He is a sober and man of character.

38 kg silver found in Sigheshwar temple

Locked since 25 years, a store room under the administration of Singheshwar temple was unlocked in presence of the officials and more than 38 kg of silver coins and utensils were found therein.Out of these coins some are related to the British regime.It is regarded that these relate to the offering by the devotees during worship.
